Tasting Notes: To the eye, it presents itself with a color deep straw yellow. On the nose there are sensations of exotic fruit, apple and vanilla, spice whose aroma comes from the period of aging spent in wood. On tasting it is of good body, refined, with a sip of excellent balance, which makes for smooth drinking satisfying.
Pairings: Excellent both at theaperitif and at entire meal, where it elegantly accompanies vegetable-based first courses e light sauces. Absolutely must try with a field herb omelette e squash blossoms.
Considerations: L'Arneis is a wine that is cultivated by the family Deltetto within the terroir of the Roero since 1977, when Antonio produced the first 1,000 bottles. Since then, this grape variety has always been at the forefront of the winery's thoughts, which, within the vineyard that gives the label its name, "San Michele", dedicates some of the best plots to him. The berries, after the harvest, ferment at a controlled temperature of 16 degrees in both cement and French oak barriques, and then refine, for about 6 months, in steel e wood. A label with which Deltetto sums up in a pleasant sip all the beauty of the Roero DOCG.
