Tasting Notes: Brilliant, deep ruby red in color, the nose expresses a warm and intense olfactory profile, characterized by notes of cherry, black cherry, mulberry and blueberry, vanilla and sage. The palate is soft and rightly tannic, fresh and balanced. It closes with a pleasant sensation of red berry fruits.
Pairings: Throughout a meal, goes well with rich pasta dishes, including stuffed pasta. Excellent on lamb ragout dishes.
Considerations: A great classic, a red that boasts more than 60 vintages and represents one of the historic wines of Sicilian viticulture. A Nero d'Avola that stands out, telling of the maturity of a wine capable of being first pungent and austere, and only later more fruity and generous. A profile given by the height of the vineyards and the strong temperature ranges that characterize them. A Nero d'Avola of rare elegance.
