Barbera and ruchè come together in marriage to give life to the sip of "Calypsos," Rosé from Piedmont that on the label refers to the winery's name Montalbera. It is a Rosè which, after a brief contact between must and skins, ferments in white at a controlled temperature, then rests a few months in steel.

Tasting Notes.: presents itself to the eye with a beautiful antique pink color, bright and clear. The nose is intense and pleasant, opened by hints of rose petals and hints of fresh fruit, then complemented by subtle mineral memories. The taste is smooth and well balanced, consistent with the nose and long persistent.

Pairings: perfect to uncork for aperitifs, it is excellent together with four-cheese canapés.

Colore buccia di cipolla tenue, profumi complessi ed intriganti che vanno dal floreale fruttato di fiori rossi e ciliegia, prugna appena evoluti, fino ad un' interessante nota vegetale che richiama il thè nero. In bocca è piacevolmente fresco e sapido con rimandi al tè e ai frutti rossi aciduli.
È ora che i produttori si decidano ad investire più sui rosé come all'estero, poiché le premesse per produrre grandi rosati ci sono.
