Fina's Perricone is a wine made from the native Sicilian Perricone grape variety of the same name, capable of yielding a noble and elegant wine distinguished by a unique olfactory signature. It is composed in its entirety of grapes of the Perricone variety, harvested at the end of September. Vinification takes place entirely in steel, including aging, and then concludes with 6 months of aging inside the bottle.
Tasting Notes.: Ruby red in color, it opens on the nose with a refined spicy texture, made up of hints of juniper and black pepper, followed by intense aromas of morello cherry and jammy plum. In the mouth it proves full-bodied and elegant, with soft tannins that prelude a long taste persistence, typical of high quality wines.
Pairings: Perfect in the company of medium-aged cheeses, it is excellent with fairly structured cured meats and roasts prepared with sauces.
