Considerations: Drawn by the unrepeatable combination of climatic conditions, volcanic soils and biodiversity, the Tascante project is enriched by a second wine. Ghiaia Nera expresses all the impetuosity of the younger vineyards of the Tasca d'Almerita Estate on Etna. A dry and elegant red, a testimony to the good things that can be born on the slopes of the volcano. Another important testimony for all of Sicily, a viticultural continent made up of different territories and countless variables, with enormous potential yet to be expressed.
Tasting Notes.: Brilliant, pale ruby red in color, the nose expresses distinct floral, wisteria, and red berry scents. The palate is fresh, responsive, balanced and characterized by good persistence.
Pairings: Throughout a meal, it pairs well with rich first courses, including stuffed pasta, and white and red meat main courses. Try it with a meat couscous.
