Named after Matidia, a Roman noblewoman, a member of the Antonine dynasty, who had the title "Augusta." She was niece of Emperor Trajan and mother-in-law of Emperor Hadrian. Upon her death in 119 CE, Hadrian delivered her funeral oration and deified her. Her statues were found throughout the Empire and coins were minted with her effigy.
Tasting Notes: by purplish ruby red color, intense and persistent aromas of small red fruits, cherry and vegetables, such as myrtle and juniper. Nice roundness in the mouth, due to soft and velvety tannins, with elegant structure. Finishes with notes of white pepper and spices.
Pairings: recommended cwith "Gnocchi Ricci di Amatrice" with mutton ragout and pork ribs.

Return and Refund

The goods must be returned intact, undamaged, and in the exact same condition in which they were delivered by the courier. You can send the goods back in any way and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping. We recommend that you use the same packaging in which it was delivered to you to avoid breakage.
