"L'Eterno" by Feudi del Pisciotto is a Pinot Noir that was born from the desire to combine the power of the Sicilian land with the intrinsic elegance of the original grape variety. The vinification involves a one-year aging in new barriques, so as to embellish the typically floral and fruity olfactory bouquet with notes of tobacco and spices. The sip is round, full-bodied, with velvety tannins and savory lengthening on the finish.

"L'Eterno" represents a bold challenge from Sicilian winery Feudi del Pisciotto. It is, in fact, a pure Pinot Noir grown in Niscemi, in the province of Caltanissetta. The leap in latitude and climate from Burgundy to Sicily is significant, yet the particular pedoclimatic conditions of the Gela area proved to be very suitable to host the French grape variety, which managed to produce wines of extraordinary finesse and expressive elegance. The Pinot Noir "L'Eterno" from the Sicilian winery Feudi del Pisciotto is part of the Collezione Grandi Stilisti, born from the desire to link the winery's labels of excellence to projects for the restoration of Sicilian works of art, allocating part of the royalties earned for this purpose. Pinot Noir has been associated with the restoration of the "Eterno" triptych by 18th-century sculptor Giacomo Serpotta. It is the winery's flagship wine, created following the enlightening intuition of renowned oenologist Giacomo Tachis, a great connoisseur of the Burgundy grape variety and the characteristics of Sicily. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 270 meters above sea level and are planted on medium-textured, skeleton-rich soils. The climate is always very breezy and good temperature ranges between day and night, favoring excellent ripening of the grapes. Harvesting takes place in the first half of September and fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine matures for 12 months in new French oak barriques and completes aging with 6 months in the bottle. Feudi del Pisciotto "L'Eterno" Pinot Noir is a label that admirably succeeds in combining and enhancing the best varietal characteristics of a difficult and demanding grape variety such as Pinot Noir, with the peculiarities of the Niscemi terroir. The result of this unusual combination is an elegant and intense wine. The color is ruby red with light garnet reflections. The olfactory profile expresses delicate aromas of small berries, floral nuances of violets, hints of spices and blond tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied, with complex aromas, a fine tannic texture and a finish of great freshness and memorable elegance. Color Intense ruby red with garnet textures Bouquet Small red fruits, violets and rose petals with garnishes of spice and slight hints of toast Taste Round, full-bodied, enveloping, with velvety tannins and savory returns on the finish.
