When structure rhymes with finesse, here are Renato Ratti's wines flowing in the glass; in particular, this Langhe Nebbiolo DOC "Reggimento" brings us closer, with its delicate yet intense aromas, to a grape variety very dear to the winery, which in fact dedicates four of the nine labels produced annually to it. Vinified with pure Nebbiolo grapes, it is the result of a temperature-controlled fermentation in steel, followed by a 7-10 day maceration and about 12 months of barrel aging. A bottle with a satisfying sip that deserves more than one taste.
Tasting Notes: To the eye it appears of a medium intense ruby red color. The nose offers the delicacy of fruity scents such as wild strawberry and raspberry. Light and pleasantly bitterish on the palate, with a full and velvety texture at the same time.
Pairings: Ideal with traditional Piedmontese meat entrees. Also perfect with chicken and pork main courses, cooked with light preparations; it is at its best with beef escalopes with mushrooms.
