Kalterersee Classico Superiore 2022 Doc Alto Adige - Kaltern

Tasting Notes: Clear and bright ruby red is the color at sight. Fruity the olfactory bouquet, opened by hints of raspberry and cherry, then characterized by classic hints of bitter almond. The palate is soft and savory at the same time, smooth and easy-drinking, with medium persistence.

Pairings: If chosen for aperitifs, it is perfect to be paired with a nice board of cold cuts and mixed sliced meats.

Considerations: After a long day at work, when you are looking for some well-deserved relaxation, perhaps over a pre-dinner, this Schiava dell'Alto Adige Kalterersee, interpreted in the "Classico Superiore" version, is what more could not be asked for. Produced by the Kaltern winery, it rests for four months on its fine lees partly in cement tanks and partly in steel tanks. Together with a nice board of cured meats and mixed cold cuts, it is a red that will give you beautiful satisfaction.
