Tenuta Olim Bauda's Freisa d'Asti DOC comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Isola d'Asti; aged in oak barrels for about 18 months and left to rest, then, for another 12 in the bottle, it does full justice to what is an iconic wine of Monferrato. Excellent.
Tasting Notes.: Ruby, with garnet-colored highlights. Small red fruits and typical rose aroma stand out on the nose. The palate is pleasantly soft, the tannins are well integrated and the balance is excellent.
Pairings: Excellent in combination with main courses of meat, it should be tried with a mature Piedmontese cheese.
