Fletris literally means "grapes dried in wood." This name is selected to recall the unusual method of aging this wine, aged initially in second-passage barriques, followed by aging in first-passage barriques to further impart all the aromas and character of wood to the wines. The branch and colors selected to make the label are a reference to the wood of the French oak barrels used for aging.
