"Isolano" is the fruit of a collaboration between Dolce&Gabbana and Donnafugata, two excellences of Made in Italy that share, among other things, an unconditional love for Sicily. It is born in eastern Sicily, on the northern slope of Mount Etna; here the vines are raised using the traditional system of the Etnean alberello or counter-espalier, on terraces contained by dry lava stone walls. Aged in steel for 9 months, "Isolano" is a white wine that knows how to stand out; the same image on the label, designed by Dolce&Gabbana, also contributes to its distinctiveness. In the graphics and the case, the colors of Sicily are enhanced: the patterns and geometric shapes are those typical of the Sicilian cart, in which red, green, blue and yellow dominate. In the center, then, is the smoking Etna, imposing and solitary.

Tasting Notes: Straw yellow with golden hues; hints of yellow fruits and citrus fruits stand out on the nose, followed by notes of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is enveloping and of extraordinary minerality.

Pairings: Perfect with shellfish, it also goes well with vegetarian first courses, fish and white meats.
