Equinox is a blend of aglianico and piedirosso, with an amiable character, that takes its name from the first day of harvest, september 21. the name comes from the Latin aequa-nox, which literally means "equal night." The equinox, in fact, is one of only two days during the year when night and day are the same length. the same day when summer ends, letting autumn take its course.
