Ci arriva da un anfiteatro naturale che si affaccia sul mare della costa toscana, regalandoci un sorso unico, che profuma di sole, di libertà e di speranza.
Il “Gorgona” Rosso dei Marchesi de’ Frescobaldi è figlio dell’omonima isola di Gorgona, la più piccola tra quelle che compongono l’Arcipelago Toscano, situato a circa venti miglia a ovest di Livorno.
Note di degustazione: profondo il rosso rubino alla vista, con sottili riflessi granata che aumentano con l’invecchiamento. Sentori di piccoli frutti maturi a bacca rossa aprono l’ingresso al naso, successivamente alternandosi con spezie dolci e note eteree.
Abbinamenti: se lo sceglierete per accompagnare la selvaggina, è da provare con il cinghiale alle bacche di ginepro, ma dopo un giusto periodo di invecchiamento in bottiglia lo potrete apprezzare appieno anche semplicemente come vino da meditazione.
- Gorgona 2023 Igt Costa Toscana Bianco
Un must dell’estate: fruttato, minerale, sapido e piacevole, che sa evocare sulle labbra il sapore del mare. Questo Costa Toscana Bianco IGT “Gorgona” di Frescobaldi è così mediterraneo che ti fa sentire in vacanza, grazie ai profumi di timo e rosmarino, gli aromi agrumati, su fondo di camomilla, pesca e banana, al punto da farti percepire la calda brezza marina tra i capelli.
Note di degustazione: di colore giallo paglierino carico con riflessi dorati. Al naso emerge subito la macchia mediterranea, con un susseguirsi di timo, rosmarino e salvia, su sfondo minerale. In bocca ritorna la mineralità e la freschezza, supportante da buoni aromi di bocca che ricordano la frutta matura. Buona persistenza ed eleganza.
Abbinamenti: copre a tutto pasto, sposandosi splendidamente con i piatti di pesce e i crostacei. Provatelo con il polpo all'elbana o coi totani ripieni, non potrete più farne a meno.
- Luce della Vite 2020 Igt Toscana
È il frutto di una selezione di uve Sangiovese e Merlot capaci di produrre un vino immediato e dotato di grande piacevolezza, in uno stile contemporaneo. La perfetta espressione dell’unicità del territorio da cui proviene.
Note di degustazione: di colore rosso intenso e brillante con riflessi violacei. Al naso impressionano, per intensità e nitidezza, sentori di frutti di bosco e confettura, ma anche tabacco ed una leggera speziatura. Al gusto si ritrovano le belle note olfattive, arricchite da una lieve nota tostata.
Abbinamenti: a tutto pasto, si abbina a un filetto di manzo saltato in padella, carni arrosto o alla griglia. Ottimo anche con formaggi di media stagionatura.
