Primitivo is an early-ripening grape, has a naturally high alcohol content and produces intense, powerful wines of great elegance and finesse. Chrismal, the name given to the wine, was a mixture of olive oil and balsamic oils used for sacred rites such as baptism and communions, used in the Sacrocolle forests for important religious functions.
