Grillo is perhaps Sicily's least known grape variety although it is not inferior to the other better-known white varieties. Straw yellow. Rich aroma with notes of apple and pear that make it immediately recognizable and appreciable. The flavor is warm and dry, slightly tannic with a citric aroma.
