C.L. Vino praticamente fantastico
l Brunello di Montalcino by Caparzo is made, as per the specifications, from pure Sangiovese grapes. The winery is one of the few in Montalcino with vineyards on the various sides of the hill, which allows the winemaker to always create balanced wines regardless of the vintage.
After strictly manual harvesting, it ferments on the skins at a controlled temperature for about 10 days, then goes into large barrels for 3 years; it completes aging with another 6 months in the bottle.
Tasting Notes.: by. ruby red color, tending to garnet with aging. Penetrating bouquet, very broad and varied, with memories of berries. Dry, warm, well supported, harmonious, delicate and austere at the same time, persistent.
Pairings: Roasts, grilled and spit-roasted meats, game, braised meats, aged cheeses.
