The southern side of Montalcino is one of the most suitable for the cultivation of Sangiovese grosso: it is here that the San Felice winery owns the vineyards from which this Brunello DOCG from the Campogiovanni line is created. An exceptional bottle, characterized by traditional flavors that take on a broad dimension both on the nose and in the mouth. The grapes macerate for about 20 days at a temperature of between 28 and 30 °C, fermenting in steel and carrying out malolactic fermentation; then comes the maturation phase, which takes place in Slavonian oak barrels for 36 months and another 12 months in the bottle. A label that will give you the luxury of a memorable drink, as few times does. To be purchased without delay!

Tasting Notes.: The view shows a deep ruby red color, with some slight orange reflections. The nose is deep, with enveloping aromas of ripe red fruit, tobacco, leather, balsamic herbs and pepper. On the palate it is austere, structured, rich, with excellent acidity and a great tannic grip. It closes with a very long finish.

Pairings: A wine with excellent structure, which needs dishes and preparations that can enhance its merits. Perfect with red meat and game, it is also to be tried with aged cheeses and with recipes where the main ingredient is truffles.
