One of the secrets of Mandrarossa has to do with the continuous research aimed at the enhancement of the Menfi area. This is how the line dedicated to the most territorial wines was born, those that more than any other are able to tell the unique characteristics of this beautiful area of Sicily. In the case of the Bonera, the name of a district not far from the town, thanks to the high summer temperatures and strong temperature ranges it is possible to produce a wine rich in aromas, as fresh as it is deep. A red wine based on nero dAvola and cabernet franc whose vinification takes place only in steel tanks and whose maturation continues for about 3 months in barriques, which in the glass reveals itself with intensity and charm.
Tasting Notes.: Ruby red with intense purple hues. The nose expresses hints of red fruits that are well reconciled with aromas of dried fruits such as plums and almonds. Intense and full on the palate, with good structure and a pleasantly soft tannic texture. Of excellent persistence.
Pairings: Throughout the meal, goes well with aged cheeses, roasted and grilled red meats, generally very flavorful dishes.
