"Strabilio" by Campo alle Comete was born a few kilometers from the sea, from vermentino and sauvignon blanc grapes. The label of this Bolgheri DOC was designed by Nicoletta Ceccoli, a San Marino artist known for her dreamlike work who, after visiting and breathing the atmosphere of Campo alle Comete, created two works of art, two enchanted and suspended worlds. "Strabilio" is a wine in which everything is harmony and balance; in him, in fact, the warmth of the sun and the delicacy of grape processing in the cellar are well balanced. Aged in steel tanks, in contact with the fine lees, and in 500-liter French oak tonneaux, it is a white wine of pleasant richness, fresh and fragrant.
Tasting Notes.: Straw yellow. Hints of white fruits and citrus emerge on the nose, followed by herbaceous notes. The palate is fine, vibrant, inviting.
Pairings: Excellent with baked fish, goes very well with vegetarian dishes and fresh cheeses.
