An unparalleled territory, surrounded by a landscape that literally enchants, with soils rich in useful limestone to give strength and vigor to the vines. It is in this context that a Grillo is born with seductive notes, unmistakable scents and a unique sip, the result of the dialogue that has been created between tradition and innovation. It is the Grillo of Sicily "Bertolino Soprano", produced by the winery Mandrarossa. Fermented in concrete "tulip" barrels and then matured for 11 months in French oak barrels, it really is not just any Grillo: it is a Grillo with a capital "G".
Tasting Notes.: Intense golden yellow and bright in the glass. The nose is articulate and rich, opened by floral and slightly herbaceous notes, then followed by hints of white peach and citrusy citron references. The sip is lithe and lively, snappy, fresh and savory. Long persistence.
Pairings: Excellent with legumes, it can also be uncorked to accompany white meats. Best chosen together with pan-seared rabbit liver.
