Nizza DOCG "La Mia Nuda," from the Montalbera winery, ferments in contact with the skins for no less than 15 days, and rests 15 to 20 months in Allier oak barrels. It offers a longevity that makes one shudder and easily exceeds ten years. Powerful and distinctive, although this is the first vintage produced, it is to be quietly included among the best Barberas ever.
Tasting Notes.: Intense ruby red color. It has a rich and distinctive olfactory bouquet, consisting of hints of jammy red fruit, tobacco and leather. The sip is also typical, distinctly fresh, structured and persistent.
Pairings: It is best paired with savory earthy cuisine. Perfect as an accompaniment to polenta with sausages.
