Crisscrossed by 999 cypress trees that celebrate and protect an extraordinary biodiversity, Ca' Bolani is an estate where vines and nature thrive in perfect harmony. Nestled between the Alps and the sea of Friuli in Aquileia, in an area where viticulture was introduced as early as Roman times, it benefits from ideal conditions for wine production: the sea breezes of summer, the protection of the Alps, the strong temperature ranges, and the variety of soils that slope down toward the sea abandoning the composition of clay and gravel and finding sand. The estate boasts a unique viticultural heritage, a veritable park of vines from which blossom wines that have in their fragrance and aromatic fullness their distinctive feature.
Color: Intense ruby red with brilliant purplish hint.
Aroma: Typical notes of small red fruits - blackberries, raspberries, blueberries - dominate the nose. Warm hints of plum and cherries under spirits harmonize with slight balsamic notes. In the finish lively spicy accords blend with olfactory memories of licorice, vanilla, coffee and chocolate given by the long aging in wood.
Flavor: On the palate it is full, round, with a great structure and an excellent balance between the natural acidity of Refosco and the great softness of the tannins, re-proposing the fruity notes and balsamic accords that dissolve into a return of spices in the final sip.
