A cellar that needs no introduction, whose myth was born thanks to the intuition of a man, Giulio Ferrari, and the dream of creating a wine capable of confronting the best French champagne in Trentino. A real pioneer, Giulio Ferrari: it is in fact who first senses the extraordinary vocation of the land of him, he who first spreads Chardonnay in Italy. This is how it begins to produce few selected bottles with an obsessive cult for quality. Wines that immediately enter the heart of the most demanding fans that ever, in Italy, had found such elegant, fine and surprising sparkling wines. However, not having children, Giulio Ferrari seeks a successor to whom to entrust his dream.
Among the many pretenders chooses Bruno Lunelli, owner of a famous wine shop in Trento. Thanks to the passion and entrepreneurial talent, Bruno succeeds in a very short time - we are in the first half of the 1950s - to increase production, without ever compromising with quality, following that same line traced by the founder. The tradition continues, and Bruno Lunelli transmits the passion to his children: under the guidance of Franco, Gino and Mauro, Ferrari becomes a leader in Italy and synonymous with the Italian toast par excellence. In recent years, some of the labels destined to enter history have seen the light: they are the Ferrari Rosé, the Ferrari Brut Perlé and the Giulio Ferrari reserve of the founder.
Today, after over a hundred years, Ferrari is synonymous with the best Italian sparkling wines. A vital surface that stands on the one hundred and twenty hectares, for a production that touches the four and a half million bottles per year: unique wines, real hymns to the size of a unparalleled cellar, and a territory - that of Trento - who has shown that he could offer some of the best bubbles in the world.
